This is a great book by Rod Gervais. Rod details how to design the acoustics for a studio. He also has design instructions for building your own acoustic panels. Instead of using fiberglass for insulation, you can use UltraTouch® which is made of shredded denim cotton. A much nicer material to handle and breathe in than fiberglass.
