Louis Armstrong (August 4, 1901 – July 6, 1971), was a trumpeter, composer, singer and acted in several films. One of the most influential artists in jazz history. His home has been turned into a museum, The Louis Armstrong House Museum in Queens, New York, a National Historic Landmark and a New York City landmark.
