The ITG Award of Merit shall be given to those individuals who have made substantial contributions to the art of trumpet playing through performance, teaching, publishing, research, composition, and/or support of the goals of The International Trumpet Guild.

On June 18, 2004 Bill Adam was honored by ITG (International Trumpet Guild) with the ITG Award of Merit presented to him at his Master Class given at the ITG 2004 Conference held in Denver. The photos of Mr. Adam from ITG 2004 were photographed by Vera Hørven and were used with permission from the ITG Web Site Executive Director.
